My party drove from Santiago Chile to Mendoza through the Andes Mountains. This was truly the highest altitude I’ve every been. At its height it was 22,838 feet. I was in ski country and witnessed a glazier lake. At the bottom of the mountain was wine country. How fascinating was that? In the center of the City Mendoza, it had a large public square with a beautiful church that had sacred relics inside and surrounding the square were quaint cafes. The people were very friendly and the food was very good. Of course there season’s are opposite from the north. When it is spring in the north, it is fall in south and and vice a versa We flew to Buenos Aires from their airport.
