When I was in Positano it was a quiet peaceful town.. After a week in Rome I wasn’t ready for the snails pace, nevertheless I still enjoy myself very much. You can take short trips to other quaint towns like Ravello too. The San Pietro Hotel where we stayed is built into the mountain and is a Six Star Hotel. The elevator to take you to their lobby is built through the mountain. The San Pietro sits directly next to another famed hotel called Le Sirenuse which has a restaurant that is lit at night by candles alone.
There are candles everywhere. You’ll find candles throughout the ceiling, windows, tables, restrooms. It is truly romantic. Back at the San Pietro, they have the best pizza you’ll ever taste too. Take it from an Italian American, it melt right in your mouth.
Naples which is the neighboring regional city is known to be the home of pizza which is only a few of hours away.
